Presentation and academic fields

Fabian finished his PhD in 2018 at the Department of Organization at CBS.
He researched the ratings, rankings and reviews within Copenhagen's fine-dining world. The focus of his research were the valuation practices he investigated how valuation devices are valuated by actors within and around the devices and on what the implications of this valuation are.
Theoretically, the PhD was grounded in two theoretical pillars that originate out of economic sociology: valuation studies and studies of devices.

Professional and/or academic experience

Professionally, Fabian works within Management Consultancy focusing on creating change with impact. He leads, design, and implements digital transformation, incl. strategies, processes and systems that add value to the organization. In his work, he focuses on the human side of the transformation. He primarily acts as change leader to accelerate delivery of sustainable IT solutions in developing organizations, programs and projects with a particular emphasis on bridging business and IT for a successful cooperation and implementation.

Mobilizing his work experience in his teaching, he has tought and is still teaching on the following courses:
- Organizational Behaviour, B.Sc. International Business
- Organization, B.A. in English and Communication
- Qualitative Methods, M.Sc. in Strategy, Organization and Leadership
