Freya Seeger is an independent Ph.D student in the Department of Digitalization at Copenhagen Business School. She holds an MSc in Leadership Studies from Copenhagen Business School and a BCom in International Business from the University of Ottawa. Her current research focus is on the transformative value of Generative AI on social media platforms, specifically from the perspective of user engagement, complementor value, and the platform business model.

Freya has gained 10 years of work experience within e-commerce strategy and marketing across Europe’s largest retail brands where she has utilized qualitative and quantitative research methods in understanding consumers, and utilizes Generative AI in her daily practice; bridging the gap between academia and industry. She is particularly interested in experiments and is driven by a curiosity in better understanding human behavior in technology adoption and disruption
