Professor WSR Kim Østergaard has, together with Associate Professor Marie Jull Sørensen from Juridisk Institut, Aalborg University, co-authored the chapter “Tourism in Denmark” in the newly published book 'Tourism Law in Europe' (ESTHE Publications).

The chapter introduces the institutional organization of tourism in Denmark with special attention to the requisite areas of accommodation and transportation. In this regard, the chapter specifically focuses on how Danish national law interacts with intermediary platforms (such as Airbnb) that play an important role in upholding these areas of tourism.

The chapter (as well as the entire book) is accessible online here.
