Ressource Effective Shop Design with Focus on Fashion Boutiques (BUTIKDESIGN)

Abstract:

Fashion companies and retailers make large investments in store design, hoping to gain competitive advantage. However, the actual effects of the individual store design are unclear. To address this gap, this industrial PhD project aims to produce knowledge on how to create store designs that target specific consumer preferences, while also considering the financial interests of clients. To gain this knowledge the project employs case studies, action research, surveys and experiments.
