The JURFAST project

JURFAST (Legal Framework for Researchers’ Use of Health Data) is a project established to illuminate the legal framework for using health data for research.

12/12/2018

The project is a multidisciplinary research project in broad-based collaboration between the Copenhagen Business School, University of Southern Denmark, Aalborg University, Aarhus University, Copenhagen University, and Odense University Hospital.

In addition, JURFAST seeks to develop an overall systematized and easily accessible overview of the rules on the use of health data for the benefit of patients and research. Among one of the many positive effects of the project is its significance for the Danish legislative process as the work will cover the legislative scope for national law to determine special rules for Danish research.
