The next academic year offers new master's programmes with focus on China, multicultural communication in organisations and bioentrepreneurship

How should a Danish company be run in China, and what separates the Danish public sector from the Chinese? According to Janie Huus Tange, Director of International Marketing at CBS,  master's students will be able to get to know China far better if they choose the new Public Management and Social Development Programme, which begins in September 2012.

- It is a unique opportunity for courageous students who will play a major part in starting a new programme in a society undergoing rapid change. Students will be studying in Beijing; a city that has everything to offer. If you are interested in Asian culture, are adventurous and have ambition, this programme is a unique opportunity for your career development, Janie Huus Tange says.

Get closer to China

The programme provides students with the opportunity to gain a new perspective on the development of welfare models, policies and institutions, to undertake an internship in a Danish company in China, to learn the language and build a Chinese network - half of the students in the programme will be Chinese. Public Management and Social Development is one of three new master's programmes which are presented Thursday 23 February at Master's Open Day at CBS. The two other programmes are Multicultural Communication in Organizations (MCO) and Bioentrepreneurship (BBIP).

English as a corporate language

MCO will equip the graduates to handle communication tasks in global, multicultural companies with English as their corporate language.  BBIP is a new programme and has been in strong demand by biotech and medtech companies. Its aim is to train the students in creating a business on the basis of good ideas arising in laboratories or among engineers and scientists.
