30 students from CBS gave their bid on development possibilities for the DIY Company JO-EL Electrics

Four concrete suggestions for the development of JO-EL Electrics Company. That was the result of Innovation Day, which was held on Friday, April 27th at Schneider Nordic Baltic with 30 students from CBS’s program ”Management of Innovation & Business Development”.

In only one day the students had to understand the company’s line of business. Afterwards they had to convert theory into practice and useful results – in the form of concrete suggestions for the development of the current business.

- We have gotten some relevant and interesting suggestions and we intend to keep working with those. For JO-EL Electric and Schneider Nordic Baltic this initiative offers a good possibility to get new perspectives on a number of options in our business. There are also some possibilities for us to have a different dialogue with the students compared to traditional company presentations. This has given us renewed inspiration, Allan Ry, Director of Marketing at JO-EL Electric says.

This is the second year in a row that students from the MIB degree program arrange “Innovation Day”. The idea is to create useful results through active collaboration and further challenge both the students and businesses in the balance between theory and practice.
