CBS makes a unique agreement with the Danish recruitment company Moment

CBS was one of the first universities in Denmark to put career consultancy on the agenda and work goal-oriented and professionally to get students quickly into the business community - all in direct continuation of a conscious strategy to cooperate closely with the business community.

Ten years down the road, CBS is making an agreement with the recruitment company Moment to act as business’ official agent to CBS students and graduates. The goal is to reach out to a greater number of the many thousands of Danish companies, to give CBS graduates a more rapid and more professional service and overview of job opportunities and to make sure that the transition to the job market is effective.

Great expectations

“We expect great results from the agreement with Moment, and we anticipate that in cooperation with Moment, we can help more than a thousand students annually to get both student jobs and full-time jobs of great value to companies, students and graduates”, says Mette Reebirk, Director of CBS Career Center.

Moment was chosen as cooperator because of the company’s great experiences with introducing graduates to the Danish job market.

“CBS students are sought after in the business community, and we regard the cooperation with Moment as a strategic opportunity to market our graduates to a broader target group. It is important to us that the graduates get a job as soon as possible – and with Moment, we expect things to develop more rapidly”, emphasizes Gert Bechlund, University Director of CBS.

Quality assurance

“We think it is very positive that by cooperating with a private agent, CBS chooses to act according to the provisions in the Danish Universities Act about creating relations between students and business. We have both the experience and the resources to ensure that the graduates are introduced to the business community in the best way possible, so everything indicates that the cooperation will be satisfactory for all parties. Moment has worked in the recruitment field for many years, so we are used to making ends meet in order to keep both students and business satisfied”, says Morten T. Højberg, CEO of  Moment.

Moment’s official cooperator CBS Career Center will still provide career consultancy to CBS students and a broad range of cooperative opportunities between CBS and the business community.
