The economy of the CBS Central Administration looks fine

With an intense focus on a better dialogue between management and staff, with praise to the different departments in the Central Administration for good spirit, a promise to work out a firm budget for 2007, and a promise to prioritize tasks leaving space for planned development projects, University Director Peter Pietras talked to the staff at CBS Central Administration about the budget on October 25th, 2006.

“The Central Administration has been through a major readjustment this year – and because of the very high cost consciousness of the various departments, as well as the helpful and creative solutions found – the budget has now been finalized and we are glad for that. The overall budget looks fine and there will be no further cuts – assuming everyone stays within their budget.” University Director Peter Pietras declared.

During the meeting, Peter Pietras emphasised the importance of a well-functioning administration to a business school with international aspirations and made it clear that realistic budgets, prioritisation of tasks, with space for development projects as well as a degree of self-service – particularly in the program administration – will be the focus for the years to come.

“Stability and planning are important for development and change. The CBS Central Administration has been through a tough year with many changes and I will work hard to prepare a firm budget for 2007 – and keep it” Peter Pietras finished.
