FUHU Awards for Excellence in Teaching and Knowledge Dissemination were given away

At CBS’ Annual Celebration 17 March 2006, the FUHU Awards for Excellence in Teaching and Knowledge Dissemination and the new CBS Award for Excellence in Teaching were given away.

FUHU Awards for Excellence in Teaching

Dana Minbaeva received the award for developing a new teaching concept at the MSc in Business, Language and Culture in the subjects Intercultural Management Theory and Practise and Intercultural Management in Action.

Motivation

Morten Bennedsen received the award for developing a new teaching concept in the subject Firm Theory and Corporate Governance at the MSc in Economics and Business Administration specialisation Applied Economics and Finance.

FUHU Award for Knowledge Dissemination

The Awards for Knowledge Dissemination were given to Steen Andersen and Torben Pedersen.

Steen Andersen received the award on these grounds: “his PhD defence in November 2005 was the culmination of a consistent and remarkable research dissemination, which has characterized him since his employment as PhD student”.

Motivation

Torben Pedersen received the award on these grounds: “through the last couple of years, he has been a great contributor to knowledge dissemination particularly regarding the role of Danish companies in the globalization”.

CBS Awards for Excellence in Teaching

The CBS Awards for Excellence in Teaching were given to Ken L. Bechmann and Edward Ashbee.

Ken L. Bechmann received the award for his work with the development of and teaching in applied economics at the MSc programmes and the HD-programme.

Motivation

Edward Ashbee received the award for his work with the development of and teaching in different subjects at the BA and MA programmes.
