CBS MBA Challenge Nominated for the Prestigious Advertising Award, Guldkorn 2006 which honors the best advertising creative in Denmark.

The CBS MBA Challenge has been nominated in the best digital campaign category of this year's Guldkorn, which honors the best advertising creative in Denmark.

Launched in September 2005, the CBS MBA Challenge was designed and developed by Per Junker Thiesgaard, Program Director MBA & EMBA together with the team at TBWA/Play, which is headed by Kim Chr. Hvidkjaer who is a graduate from the CBS Executive MBA Program. Furthermore, the MBA Alumni Society supports the game by donating a number of prizes to the first winners at the start of the game.

"As a school that prides itself on innovation and creativity, the CBS MBA Challenge was designed to promote our MBA programs that differentiate us from the other business schools. By inviting prospective MBA candidates to join a simulated management game, we engage them in the fast moving, time-pressured decision making that managers are confronted every day. So far we have received very positive feedback from those who have participated in the game," said Thiesgaard.

The CBS MBA Challenge is an interactive, multi-channel management game. Based on a fictitious management challenge, participants are invited to use this game to test their executive capabilities in an immersive MBA simulation game. Spanning over tactical and strategic decision-making in a storytelling universe of a fictitious company, as a top-notch consultant directing the company's turn-around. Throughout the game, participants are contacted via different communication channels, email, mobile, fax, and much more.

Founded by Creative Circle, Guldkorn is an annual prize award in the Danish advertising industry, which honors the most creative and innovative advertisements of the previous year. The winners will be announced on 25 March 2006 at an award celebration. Main sponsors of this competition include Børsen, the leading Danish daily and TV2.
