Shamisen Concert by Shuho Ishii

The Concert is a part of the EU-Japan Year 2005 Event Series and is arranged by DSR and the Asian Studies Programme.
The Shamisen is a classical Japanese string instrument and was originally used by traveling blind artists. The artist Shuho Ishii will play a series songs from the Tsugaru region in the northern part of Japan. Everybody is welcome, but if possible please reserve your seat in advance.
