Market structure analysis is the object of continuous improvements and is now extending beyond the consideration of single categories, to take into account cross-category interactions. The lecture applies Network Analysis to the investigation of market structure when different categories are brought into play: it suggests that Network analysis may prove a valuable tool in such a project and help reaching explanation of the structure and of individual positions beyond description. It provides an pplication to the media print industry.
