Ole Stenvinkel Nilsson holds a MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School (1972) and has since been attached to CBS as researcher, head of department, program director and during the last five years as dean at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Thanks to Ole's ability to encourage and motivate his surroundings, he has had great influence on profiling CBS and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and not least on putting CBS on the international map.

It was natural that the Ministry of Science,Technology and Innovation made use of his wide knowledge and infectious energies as chairman of the Ministry's think tank on creative economy. It was natural as well that a foreign country became aware of a personality as his. The Norwegian School of Management, BI, in Oslo has succeeded in convincing Ole to become their President
