CBS students show how to create synergies

CBS-Solution Case Competition is open to all CBS Bachelor students, thus creating inter-disciplinary synergies and co-operation as well as fierce competition.

CBS-Solution is a new and innovative case competition, dealing with interdisciplinary problem areas drawing on competences from both HA, BA, and BLC. In teams made up of students from different bachelor programmes, the participants will compete to find the best solution, when they are challenged with a real case from the Danish manufacturer of wind turbines, Vestas.

The participating teams have no more than 29 hours to prepare their solutions, which will be assessed by a jury consisting of prominent guests from the business community. In addition to Vestas representatives, the jury will be made up of Leif Beck Fallesen, CEO and managing editor of ‘Dagbladet Børsen', Kjeld Erik Brødsgaard, professor at the University of Copenhagen and CBS, and Lars Nørby Johansen, chairman of DEA.

The competition will be the first of its kind, as no previous case competition has integrated synergies between studies of business economics, communication, and culture within the teams. In addition to the academic skills which the students gain from the competition, they also get the opportunity to show what CBS Bachelors have to offer the business community.
