The conference seeks to adress the problems, dilemmas and expectations of the European scenario, as experienced by governments, organizations, groups and individuals around the

Kriegsende in Europe in 1945. The aim is to pin down essential conceptions and discussions on Europe's future, not only those which would eventually lead to the establishment of the European Union, but also embracing those who might have taken a different direction.
