Opening Up Disruption - A study of Fintech in the Danish financial sector (FINTECH)

Abstract:

The purpose of the proposed PhD project is to examine how the organization of work in the Danish financial sector is changing with the growth in fintech products. The project will consist in two phases: 1) A large qualitative study consisting in interviews with relevant managers across established institutions in the Danish financial sector. The aim is to learn about current fintech projects and managers’ approach to integrating fintech in the existing organizations.2) An extensive qualitative study (consisting in observations of everyday work, interviews and documentary research).
