We are delighted to announce that yet again, the Copenhagen MBA has fared well in the América Economia 2018 Best Global Business School for Latin Americans. The rankings evaluate programmes based on Multicultural Experience and Diversity (22.5%), Selectivity (27.5%), Latin Americans Network Potential (12.5%), International Positioning (27.5%) and Innovation Focus (10%). The latter is a new addition, and one that CBS was very pleased to welcome, as it is a designated focus area for the school.

“Our strong suit in the rankings is generally our student body,” comments MBA Rankings Manager Malene Sejer Larsen. “Each year, we take great care to compose a class of diverse individuals representing different countries, experiences and cultures, and we know that for a small programme we compare very well on this arena. With over 40% women, our MBA was recently ranked Top MBA for Women by the Financial Times and our diverse class keeps bringing up our overall rank in various prestigious global rankings.”

The Copenhagen MBA came out as number 31 in América Economia’s Best MBAs for Latin Americans ranking this year. In the surveyed cohort, 15% of international MBAs stem from Latin America.

“In recent years we have increased our presence and recruitment efforts in Latin America,” says Poul Hedegaard, MBA Director. “It is a very interesting market and we are impressed with the talent that end up following us back to Denmark for their MBA, some of which stay on and join the Danish workforce post-graduation.”

The América Economia rankings were made public in May and you can view the full rankings table here.
