Yang Style 16-form Tai Chi Chuan

By Alice Mao, Nordic Health Center

Tuesday, May 28, 2013 - 15:45 to Wednesday, May 29, 2013 - 17:00

Every one of us could feel increasing stress in today’s world. That might be the reason why Tai Chi gains growing popularity worldwide.

Tai Chi is designed to help people improving their way of handling stress and keeping health in the rapidly changing world. When life gets spinning really fast, Tai Chi teaches us how to slow things down, let the stress go, and find the inner peace in one’s body and life.

Tai chi chuan is generally classified as a form of traditional Chinese martial arts of the Neijia (soft or internal) branch. It is considered a soft style martial art — an art applied with internal power. Focusing the mind solely on the movements of the form could definitely help to bring about a state of mental calm and clarity.

We have invited Ms. Alice Mao to come and teach us the basic 16-form Tai Chi Chuan On May 28 and May 29, 2013.

We will meet at the entrance of Porcelænshaven 24B, 2000 Frederiksberg. If weather allows, we will do Tai Chi and enjoy Danish spring in the beautiful Frederiksberg Have. Otherwise, we may have to learn inside the building.

The Tai Chi promotion course is free of charge. Everyone who is interested is welcome to sign up using the link below:
