Together with NCCC (Nordic-Chinese Chamber of Commerce), Copenhagen Business Confucius Institute would like to invite you to come to an interesting lecture about China at CBS. We are so happy to have Mr. Tang, Jun visiting CBS and give a talk about his understanding of Doing Business in China.

Mr. Tang is well known in China. He has received various honors, including China’s Number One Chief Executive Officer in the Media Sector, China’s Top Ten Most Valuable Professional Manager, China’s Top Ten IT Economic Figure in 2002, and Top Ten Digital Leaders.

 

Abstract:

It is a common knowledge that Chinese market is full of investment opportunities. What is not commonly understood is how western companies can gain a foothold in this complex and often confusing market.

With years of managerial experience as an executive officer served in both International and domestic corporations, Mr. Tang has a deep understanding of the “Chinese way” of doing business. At the same time, he also understands what are the challenges and difficulties that foreign companies are facing every day.

In this presentation, Mr. Tang will discuss with you the reasons and facts behind these challenges, explore the facts of China’s politics, laws and regulations, industrial and business structures, and cultural differences by looking at some real stories of MNCs in China through his own experiences.

Mr. Jun Tang is the CEO of Gaotime Co. Shanghai, and the Honorary President of Microsoft China Co. Ltd.
