CBS researchers receive two out of three awards from the Nykredit Foundation who once again has honoured the Danish universities with research awards. The merit award and the motivation award go to research within finance and CSR at CBS.

The Nykredit Foundation wants to stimulate innovative and growth-stimulating research. Two CBS researchers have received the bank's awards for living up to these criteria:

And the merit award goes to...

Motivation for gender and diversity

The motivation award of DKK 100,000 is also Nykredit's talent award. This year it goes to Sabina Nielsen, Associate Professor at the Department of International Economics and Management. She is doing research on diversity; how it impacts the work and results of boards in companies in relation to ethnicity, gender and internationalisation.

Follows the example of architectural prize

It is the third time in a row that the Nykredit Foundation presents their Nykredit Research Prize. All the universities have been able to nominate candidates. For more than 25 years, the Nykredit Foundation has been awarding their architectural prize, which has helped put focus on the industry, says Nels Petersen, Head of Corporate Communication:

- The recipients of the architectural prize have been so interesting that the Danish Architecture Centre has made exhibitions only based on the recipients. We want the same with the Nykredit Research Prize - place focus on CSR and finance. What the money is spent on is not our business. Some people use them to upgrade their qualifications and some invest them in projects. We give this money, because we wish to stimulate research and disseminate the results to the rest of the world, says Nels Petersen.

The award ceremony takes place on 12 November at 17:00 at Nykredit, Kalvebod Brygge 1-3.

The Nykredit Research Prize is an acknowledgement of experienced researchers who have conducted original, innovative and high-quality research within finance, HR or CSR. Furthermore, at talent prize is awarded to a young, promising researcher within finance and a similar prize for a researcher within  HR or CSR.
