A close look into the interaction between the public sector and private businesses

Public-private partnerships are a political management tool that is on the national and international administration agenda. The main idea behind these partnerships is that a better and more efficient public service can be achieved by cooperating with the private sector.

What do we gain from public-private partnerships?

But what are public-private partnerships exactly? What do we know about them? And what do they have to offer?

In a special issue, the journal Politik (Politics) looks at the phenomenon and its consequences for management. The special issue contains contributions from researchers from Denmark, the UK, the Netherlands, and Australia, including three researchers from CBS: Professor Carsten Greve, PhD Fellow Ole Helby Petersen, and PhD Fellow Guðrið Weihe, all from the International Center for Business and Politics.

The special issue is relevant to all people interested in public-private partnerships, from researchers to general uers, to students who want to study the subject.
