gives the key note speech at the IFIP 8.6 Working Conference om Open IT-based Innovation

On Wednesday, October 22. 2008, professor Karlheinz Kautz from Department of Informatics will give a key note speech at the IFIP 8.6 Working Conference on Open IT-based Innovation in Madrid, Spain. In the speech titled: "Open Innovation in the IT industry - Customization as a Case of Open Innovation." He will discuss software customization of standard packages by small, independent software companies as a case of open innovation. Using a comparative case study as his point of departure he presents two models of open innovation with a particular focus on interorganizational networks as enablers and inhibitors for open innovation.
