Participation in Conference

Anne-Marie Søderberg and Verner Worm represented the project at The Danish Council for Strategic Research’s conference on The Creative and Innovative Society.

In a panel discussion on the interaction between research and the corporate sector Nickie Spiele, Vice President at Novozymes, one of the projects five company partners, also participated.

Anne-Marie Søderberg spoke, in her capacity as research director, of how the research project has benefitted from making agreement with companies as partners, rather than making companies objects of research. Such a partnering agreement not only relieves the access to relevant interviewees and documents, it also reinforces our research field and forms the basis of dialogue and development processes.

Nickie Spiele emphazised, among other things, the difference between the deepens the insight obtained by a company when collaborating with a team of researchers as opposed to the knowledge purchased from a consultancy company, which is limited by the horizon of the purchasing company.
