CBS initiative will help organisations innovate

Better and larger partnerships are required to handle the challenges that society is facing in a globalised world. CBS has therefore established the Public-Private Platform, which according to Paul du Gay, Professor and Academic Director of the platform, will function as a knowledge centre and liaison between public and private organisations.

- The platform will be a "collaboratory", where business executives, politicians, researchers and citizens can meet and exchange opinions and new ideas, says Paul du Gay from the Department of Organization. Paul du Gay is leading the Public-Private Platform together with Carsten Greve from the Department of Business and Politics.

Virtual meetings

The meetings can be both virtual and physical and take place through a combination of interdisciplinary research, teaching and public arrangements. Apart from creating new ideas, the platform will draw on the knowledge from CBS' researchers across disciplines to increase the quality of the collaboration. The aim is to provide concrete solutions to societal problems within health, IT, welfare and training.

The Public-Private platform is already conducting research in topics such as "City and Urban Space" and "Hybrid forms of Governance". The platform has just launched its website, where you can read more about future activities, the people behind and exciting news about public and private collaborations.
