Associate Professor Dorte Madsen becomes Editor-in-Chief

The Journal of Information Architecture is a new journal initiated by the Research and Education Group in Information Architecture.

Associate Professor Dorte Madsen from the Department of Informatics is the first Editor-in-Chief of the new journal.

Creating new knowledge

- The Journal of Information Architecture has a dual – and ambitious – purpose to be both a scientific peer-reviewed journal and a forum for information architecture practice. Furthermore, the journal will serve as a forum to bring together theory and practice, Dorte Madsen states in the editorial of the new journal.

The Journal of Information Architecture is a peer-reviewed journal and focuses on research in information architecture and development in all kinds of shared information environments, for instance social networks, websites, intranets and Rich Internet Applications from many different perspectives, for instance technical, cultural, social and communicative. The journal’s profile is interdisciplinary.
