Mikkel Flyverbom has received a Google Research Award (180.000 DKK)

Google Inc. USA has just announced that it will support Mikkel Flyverbom’s research project titled ‘Dialogue and transparency as organizational norms in the online information access industry’ with 180.000 DKK.

The Google Research Awards program “aims to identify and support world-class, full-time faculty pursuing research in areas of mutual interest”, and as part of the award, researchers are given a liaison at Google for the duration of the research project, and this will make it possible to carry out an ethnographic study at the Google headquarters in Silicon Valley, starting in the fall of 2011.
