Conference on Management Consulting

Management Consulting is a growing business within the past few years and is undergoing great changes. The clients’ demands get more and more specialized, which means that the consultants are constantly being challenged. How this collaboration between client and consultant takes place is of great importance for the future development in this area.

Precisely this collaboration is in focus when the conference Client-Consultant Cooperation - Coping with Complexity and Change opens.

Practical experiences and the latest research are some of the subjects that will be presented at the conference.

There will be Q & A sessions like:

- How does collaboration between client and consultant work and how is value created?

- How is knowledge developed and transferred to the client’s business?

- How do changes get effectuated in the client’s company and what roles does the consultant play as an agent of change?

- What experiences do the clients have with using consultants?

- What characterizes a successful use of consultants – for both parties?

- What works and how – like for example, what contributions, intervention principles, management models and tools?

- What critical areas exist in the client-consultant collaboration?

- How does the future agenda look for research on this area?

Invited speakers are:

Professor Léon de Caluwé, senior partner in Twynstra Group of Management Consultant, Dr. Fiona Czerniawska, Head of Arkimeda, Professor Larry Greiner from University of Southern California, Laurence Prusak, Distinguished Scholar in Residence at Babson College and Mads Øvlisen, former CEO in Novo Nordisk and currently Director of the Board at Lego.
