Cecilie is an Industrial MADE PhD Fellow at the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School. Her main research areas covers sustainability, business models and circular economy. More specifically, she investigates how to develop sustainable business models and the transformation process going from a linear to a circular value chain for existing manufacturing companies. In her PhD she is working with Novo Nordisk to develop a take-back program for their insulin pens, focusing on the business model and NPD (new product development).
Before joining CBS Cecilie worked two years in private companies within the construction industry where her main task was circular economy and development and implementing sustainability strategy. She holds a Master degree in International Business and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration & Service Management with focus on innovation, both from CBS.
