Presentation

I am interested in organizing as emergent and non-intentional processes. Empirically my main area of research is changes in the organization of welfare organizations. I have been studying (self-undermining) processes of decision-making and the role of information and not least ignorance in decision-making. Currently I have a research project on the relation between leadership development and organizational practice.

Primary research areas
  • Organizational and sociological theory
  • Reforms of public management
  • Decision-making
  • Management of knowledge, non-knowledge and ignorance
  • Leadership development
