I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master's degree in Spanish Language and Culture from The University of Copenhagen. I also hold a Licenciatura degree in Pedagogy from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where in addition, I took a Master exchange program in Latin American Studies.

Since 2006, I have taught across the Danish education system, at Schools for adult education, at upper secondary school, and universities.
Courses I have taught at universities:
- “University of Southern Denmark: Communication oral 1, Social/Historical Subject, and Spanish Written Proficiency and Grammar 3.
- CBS: “Culture and society: Latin America before and now”, where I also have supervised BSc thesis projects.
In my teaching I am particularly interested in the linguistic aspects, grammar, translation, moreover the cultural, the historical, the political, and the social dimensions of the Spanish subject. I am also concerned with the importance of developing the intercultural communication competence.
