The feature article argues that the world’s economic gravity is shifting east, with India and China playing the key roles. The two countries are headed by new, strong leaders, who are of almost same age but different in backgkround, career and political orientation. The article also maintains that the challenge to the West of the two Asian giants is not only of an economic nature, but also has political and cultural dimensions.
