The Structure of Discourse: A Corpus-based Cross-language Study (Diskursstruktur)

Abstract:

The project seeks to identify and describe the highest level of language, discourse, which is about relations across or beyond sentence limitations. The purpose of the project is to show and explain language-typologic differences in the structure of discourse between linguistic families and internally between languages of the same family.
