In order to obtain the PhD degree, Livia Lopes Barakat has submitted her thesis entitled: Knowledge management mechanisms at MNCs: The enhancing effect of absorptive capacity and its effects on performance and innovation

Tuesday, February 9, 2021 - 14:00 to 16:00

This thesis explores the relationship between knowledge management mechanisms and innovation and performance outcomes in multinational corporations (MNCs). It relies on a rationale that in order to fully assimilate such knowledge and apply it to commercial ends, absorptive capacity plays an important role. With the increasing importance of emerging markets in the global innovation landscape, the three studies primarily focus on an emerging market, Brazil.
