Mini-Conference on Human Capital Analytics - Why Aren’t We There?
Registration is now closed
Despite the enormous interest in human capital analytics, organizations have struggled to move from operational reporting to true analytics. A 2015 study undertaken by Deloitte found that although 75% of surveyed companies believe that using human capital analytics (HCA) is important for business performance, but only 8% evaluate their organizational capabilities in this area as “strong”. Several consultancy reports and numerous LinkedIn blogs concur: despite the vastness of available corporate data, organizations have been slow to develop their HCA capabilities, and those that have focused on such development have encountered difficulties in moving from “operational reporting for benchmarking and decision making” to analytics in the form of development of ‘people models,’ analysis of dimensions to understand cause and deliver of actionable solutions.
Why do companies struggle to move to analytics? The purpose of this mini-conference is to gather academic and practitioners’ knowledge to explore this question.
The program features three outstanding keynotes by Professor Mark Huselid, the North Eastern University, the leading pioneer-practitioner in this area Jorrit van der Togt, EVP HR Strategy and Learning, Royal Dutch Shell plc., and established analytics-professional Morten Kamp Andersen.
The mini-conference will take place on the 12th of October, between 13.00 and 16.30 followed by the networking reception, at CBS Kilen, Kilevej 14 Copenhagen, Denmark.
