The Blue MBA appoints Thomas Damsgaard as Ambassador to enhance links with North and Central America
Thomas Damsgaard, a global maritime and logistics executive based in Houston, Texas, has been formally named as an Ambassador for the Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics (the Blue MBA). This brings the number of Blue MBA Ambassadors to seven.Mr Damsgaard has 27 years of maritime experience, during which he has set out consistently to deliver operational efficiencies and enviable financial results. He is vice president for Inchcape Shipping Services at Houston, heading the Americas section of the big global port agency company. He heads marine services teams in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.
He joins an ambassadorial team which reinforces the standing of the Blue MBA throughout global regions and in relevant specialities. These Ambassadors raise awareness of the key role of the degree programme in developing the strategic capabilities of management in the maritime and associated industries. They serve as leaders and liaison contacts for past, present and potential future alumni of the programme.
