Presentation and academic fields

Per Henrik D. Hansen has an M.Sc. in Economics with specialization in Money & Banking and Corporate Finance and M.A. in Philosophy with a specialization in Philosophy of Science & Methodology as well as Practical Philosophy (Ethics and Politics).

Professionally Per Henrik D. Hansen has worked in several analytical positions in the financial sector and Danmarks Nationalbank, such as Portfolio Manager, Global Macro Analyst, Strategic Asset Allocator, and Economic Advisor. Before this, he completed a two-year trainee program and worked for several years as a shipping man at A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, including a 2-year Secondment to the USA. Parallel to the above occupations and later on full-time, I have taught (and did research) for 25 years at Copenhagen Business School and the University of Copenhagen in more than 20 different subjects. He has also been a lecturer at Niels Brock Business College in the last few years.

Initially, Pers particular interest was Monetary Economics and Business Cycle theory, which areas he has also researched. He later developed an interest in Business Development, Stakeholder Value Management, CSR, and ESG.

He has completed a two-year theoretical and practical education, Diploma of Education (Pædagogikum), in Pedagogy and Didactics at the University of Southern Denmark.
