Collaborative relationships with suppliers offer significant opportunities for a buyer to create competitive advantages and achieve superior results. However, the ability to identify and measure the value potential that can be delivered from supplier-relationships is a prerequisite for this to happen.

In this workshop we will discuss research in the area, and work hands-on with different methods that can be applied when a buyers seeks to measure the value of a particular supplier.

The workshop is aimed at people working within the functional areas of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, category management and supplier relationship management.

Some key takeaways from the workshop:

  • Learn to identify important value dimensions in buyer-supplier relationships.
  • Discuss with fellow practitioners their practices on identifying supplier-relationship value.
  • Get an introduction to theories and models that can enable practices on value measurement.

Time: March 10th, 2015, at 14:00-17:00.
Location: Solbjerg Plads 3, Section D, 4th Floor, Room 20, Copenhagen Business School

Some preparation in the form of reading material, and pre-workshop value assessment activities should be expected.
