Open call for Funds for Research Communication activities

Deadline: Monday the 1st of February 2016 at 12:00am

12/15/2015

Dear all,

The Ministry of Higher Education and Science has announced that a pool of approx. 7.5 mill DKK will be available in 2016, for initiatives aimed at research communication activities, with a special focus on activities which include broader society and help facilitate dialogue between researchers and citizens.

Funding is not granted for activities which could be granted by formal research granting bodies, e.g. Danish Council for Independent Research, or the Danish Innovation Foundation.

The funds available, which derive from the surplus of the Danish Gambling Industry (Danske Spil – former known as “Tips- og Lottomidlerne”, now “Udlodningsmidlerne”) are set to cover expenses for ‘external activities’ e.g.; travel and accommodation in connection with the activity, print and publication activities, equipment rental, marketing, setup of homepages, online games, DVD’s, CD’s, external consultancy etc. (You cannot apply for salary/buy out)

For more information on about the call and the application criteria, please visit the ministry’s homepage: homepage (only in Danish) and the current call: How to apply (only in Danish)

Deadline: Monday the 1st of February 2016 at 12:00am

How to apply: Via e-grant. Application documents will be made available from December 14th, 2015.

In case of further interest, please don’t hesitate to contact your relevant contact person in RSO for further details.

Venlig hilsen / Kind regards,
