CBS wins Eduniversal Prize

CBS wins the main Eduniversal Prize for having the best reputation among business schools worldwide.

10/23/2014

For the seventh straight year, 1,000 deans from business schools worldwide have recommended CBS as having an excellent reputation. In 2014, CBS ranks first in Western Europe and first in the world on Eduniversal's ranking of business schools.

Eduniversal ranks reputation. Business schools from all over the world are asked to recommend other business schools, and 672 of the asked deans and rectors recommend CBS, while 668 recommend London Business School and 664 recommend Harvard Business School.

According to Ole Stenvinkel Nilsson, Director of Accreditation and Quality Assurance, this survey emphasises the international recognition of CBS.

- It is impressive that such a large part of the deans recommend CBS. The fact that we have been ranked high for several consecutive years just shows that these recommendations are not coincidental.

This is the seventh year of the survey. Eduniversal is a French organisation, whose purpose is to provide the information necessary for students to make the right education choice.

Associate professor Sven Bislev from Department of Intercultural Communication and Management received the awards on behalf of CBS. Receiving the regional award he said the following:

- The reason for us doing so well is that we have pursued a consistent diversity strategy for the last quarter of a century: opening up to globalization, including more academic disciplines, and cooperating with numerous other universities. The gain from that is the attraction of good students that are academically competent, active, engaged and critical. Thus, I dedicate the award to the brilliant students at CBS, who are the real reason international Deans and professors always say nice things about CBS.
