COINEC Conference

The aim of the COINEC conference is to advance our knowledge of how industrial co-development between the old developed countries of Western Europe/US and the new industrializing countries, (especially the BRICs and in particular China) is emerging and may be further organized both at micro (within MNCs), at meso (global supply chains and innovation networks) and macro-levels. Focus is on emerging trends at these three levels, how actors co-create new ways of interacting and how the emerging patterns of the new economy can better be governed. The COINEC conference is focusing on how actors in Western Europe and the US adapt to the new economy. The conference is just a new step in stimulating comparative research at a global level among scholars of industrial organization and the last day is reserved for planning within a smaller group of scholars.
