Two former International Business students are offering a DKK 10,000 scholarship to make it easier for current students to raise money to study overseas.

Bjorn Clauber Ruwald and Christoffer Husted Rasmussen will award The Husted Rasmussen & Clauber Ruwald Scholarship to students who are going on an exchange in the autumn of 2008.

They were students on the International Business programme in 2002 and came up with the idea of a scholarship after a trip to New York last year.

“We went on an exchange to New York when we were students and we were discussing how much easier it was now. We can both remember the hassle of applying for scholarships, so we decided to make it easier,” says Bjorn, who works as a management consultant.

“We are looking for extraordinary people with an outstanding track record and an even better potential to make a difference in the future,” he added.

“We see that people making a difference tend to share some traits. They are passionate, affectionate and humble, and they never stop searching for inspiration. Those four traits are what we will be looking for,” adds Christoffer, who also as a management consultant.

You need to be eligible for the scholarship to apply. For the 2008 season, you are eligible if you study the B.Sc. International Business programme at Copenhagen Business School and are going on exchange in the autumn 2008 semester. For more information about applying have a look at the scholarship web site.
