Professional and/or academic experience
- Jan Peter Larsen has over 25 years of experience in the financial sector. Today, he is part of the executive team of an IT company that provides a full-service platform for banks in Denmark.
- Jan’s formal education includes a Global eMBA, a MSc (Finance), and Graduate Diploma (Accounting; Finance; and Organization).
- Jan has a broad interest in investment, finance, and managerial economics, including the valuation of companies and assets, assessment of investments, decisions on financing, and optimization of prices, production, and capacity.
- With many years of teaching and supervising, Jan has extensive experience in the application of research methods and managerial economics in student projects.
- Jan is also a certified external examiner. (Det Erhvervsøkonomiske Censorkorps).
Pedagogical experience/method skills/supervision
Jan has been an external lecturer at CBS since 2009, teaching Business Research Methods. (Erhvervsøkonomisk metode; Design af undersøgelser og analyser) and Final Project (Afsluttende Projekt) on HD1.
