Maibrit Ladegaard Jakobsen is owner of a fitness studio, where she focuses on the company’s strategic vision, financial situation, optimization with the capacity constraint, HR, and customer relationship.
Apart from that, she is employed at a dental clinic, where she is focused on optimizing the company, by creating better processes and optimizing resources within the capacity constraint the company has.
The foundation of Maibrit’s professional work is processing internal data for allocating resources and making strategic decisions.
Maibrit has taught exercise classes for HA students, in the subject Managerial Economics, as an external lecture since 2019.
Maibrit has been teaching people in sports from a very young age, and has had several courses in pedagogical approaches, which are useful in academic teaching too.
She uses discussions and retrieving information from last sessions in her teaching. She finds it highly important, not only to be able to calculate and work with the numbers, but also to understand and explain the numbers in an everyday language.
She varies her teaching, by using whiteboard, excel, PowerPoint, quizzes, and group discussion, to create a dynamic learning.
