    The 2018 conference of the International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME) focused on “Blue Growth” and “the Blue Economy“ as a potential driver of sustainable growth. With the organization of the 2018 IAME-conference in Mombasa (Kenya), the African continent as a major vector of this future development was a highly debated topic by the Maritime Economists community. But with a two-digit million dollar amount from a Canadian council, CBS Maritime is going to help lead a larger global cooperation. The aim is greener shipping.

    Travelogue: Study Trip to Hamburg in November 2017

    The Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management (GSCLM) Program is the result of a collaboration between Copenhagen Business School, The Chinese University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen and The University of British Columbia, which brings top students from three continents together in an ambitious and multicultural environment. In November a group of 39 students visited Hamburg on a five day study trip.

    The Ports of Shanghai - Big, Bigger, Biggest

    By invitation from Danish Ports (Danske Havne), CBS Maritime Director, Henrik Sornn Friese, attended the study trip to Shanghai the second week of September. The delegation visited some of the worlds largest ports along with the citys renowned maritime university.

    CBS Maritime Present at The 2017 IAME Conference

    The annual conference of the International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME) was held in Kyoto in, Japan from 27th to 30th June. This year the event marked the association’s 25th anniversary. Four articles from CBS Maritime were presented at the conference.
