Præsentation

Alexander joined Copenhagen Business School as a Research Asssistant to aid the FoodLAND project under the guidance of Professor Jesper Clement. This research & development project, with its focus on multiple African countries, benefits from his expertise in biometric studies. His time at Decision Neuroscience Research Cluster (DNRC), led by Jesper Clement, was marked by involvement in various studies, including his own master’s thesis. This thesis investigated the impact of video games on gambling behaviors in adolescents. Using techniques like eye-tracking, facial recognition, and emotional arousal, Alexander’s research offered new insights, though it found no direct link between video games and an increased likelihood of economic risk-taking. However, it did highlight how emotional arousal from video games could increase risk aversiveness, which opposes what is assumed by the general media.

Alexander's approach to research blends academic inquiry with practical relevance, offering insights into consumer behavior and decision-making. His dedication to exploring complex subjects and contributing to meaningful projects positions him as an asset in the field of academic research.
