Students interested in founding and growing social enterprises and non-profit organizations can now select a new Minor in Social Entrepreneurship and Not-for-Profit Management. Associate Professor Kai Hockerts explains that student interest in this area has been growing over the last years and this Minor comes to meet this interest.

The Minor will bundle together existing courses in social entrepreneurship, social innovation, poverty and the private sector and humanitarian operations, allowing third semester students to receive a minor diploma provided they take three electives equaling a total of 22.5 ECTS. ”We now invite interested students to contact us for a pre-sign up for the courses that will be held in the spring and autumn semester 2010”, says Lavinia Iosif, research assistant for the S-ENT Minor.

The Social Entrepreneurship and Not-for-Profit Management Minor is supported by the Øresund Academy and is held together with Roskilde University, Malmö University and Lund University.
