csbCSR "Brown Bag" Research Seminar: Thomas Basbøll
Presenter: Thomas Basbøll,
Resident Writing Consultant at Department of Management, MPP.
Title of paper: Writing process reingeneering
(on getting mental and material space for paper writing in a multi tasked reality, through restructuring and coaching).
WRITING PROCESS REENGINEERING
Researchers at CBS, like researchers everywhere, are under increasing pressure to produce results. Based on his experience as MPP’s resident writing consultant, Thomas Basbøll will talk about how to secure the time and energy scholars need to write efficiently and effectively.
What he calls "writing process reengineering" is not just a matter of individual discipline and time management; it requires a shared understanding of the value of academic writing and a common framework for getting it done within a research environment.
Thomas will talk about what researchers can do to help themselves and each other, but also about what administrators can do to support their efforts.
This event is part of a series of cbsCSR Research Seminars that take place monthly, where new research will be presented.
