"Stakeholder Perspectives and Scandinavian Approaches to CSR"

CBS Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (cbsCSR) is very pleased to invite academics and practitioners to participate in the 2nd Nordic Symposium on CSR on Friday 17 June 2010 at Copenhagen Business School.

The Conference is kindly sponsored by FUHU, Foreningen for Unge Handelsmænds Uddannelse.

The 2nd Nordic Symposium builds on the success of the “1st Nordic Symposium on CSR”, which brought together close to 100 participants from Scandinavia and beyond to discuss a wide variety of issues under the broad corporate social responsibility (CSR) umbrella in Copenhagen in June 2010.

The Symposium will focus specifcially on “Stakeholder Perspectives and Scandinavian Approaches to CSR”, but we will touch upon research being carried out in broad areas of CSR (see all topics in the Call for Abstracts here).

Confirmed keynote speaker at the Symposium will be Professor R. Edward Freeman, author of some of the most acknowledged work in the field of CSR and stakeholder theory, including “Stakeholder Management” (1984). The Symposium will be preceded by a one-day PhD workshop with the participation of Professor Freeman.

Please read more and register online at the Conference website.
