CBS-students behind a week dedicated to social responsibility.

From April 16. -20. CBS focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility – a phenomenon focusing on economics, politics and societal ethics that are increasingly important to more and more companies. Is it really possible to demand that private companies take on responsibility apart from generating profit for the investors?

An entire week dedicated to social responsibility

During this time there will be business presentations and panel discussion related to Corporate Social Responsibility and students from business schools in countries such as Sweden, Norway, Germany, Finland, Belgium, Hungary, China and Denmark will participate in the competition where they will be given 48 hours to solve a real CSR-problem for a large company (unknown in advance). The last time this competition took place the participants worked out a solution for the oil company Shell on the development of an entrepreneurial- and educational project for the company in Oman.

A team of active students from the student organization WELL are initiators of this week. And they receive support from companies such as Novozymes, Shell, Grundfos and LEGO.
